Twists and turns, love and loss, happiness and sadness, success and failure — this is our life which can’t be stable and too simple. Today I’d like to talk to you about my highs and lows during those two weeks.
Let me start with the highs. On Thursday, 10th of October, I presented my second project. It was about Kansas and I’m very proud of it. I kept the eye contact, I used gestures and right intonation, my speech was rather clear and fluent. This project is definitely better than the first one, and I’m so glad about it!
The second achievement — a really big one — I feel I’m better at time management! Of course there are still lots of moments when I get uptight about my deadlines but usually these things are pointless because I do things in advance and send them in time.
The third win — I and Nadine made a great dialogue which was full of interesting and informative lines and words that we learned during the time of studying here. By the way, I’ve just read Nadine’s blog post and I want to say: don’t worry! Yes, It was a little bit awkward, but everything is fine. Anyway, we did our best.
And besides (I cooooouldn’t help writing it) on Friday I suddenly met the Instagram blogger whom I’ve been following for a rather long time. I was sooo glad to see him and I took photo with him. I’m really happy! ^^

As for the lows, I may seem to you an optimist but the only one not so good thing that I remember is a small dialogue which I and Chris have written. Maybe we just didn’t understand the assignment, but our lines were quite weird and not so interesting. But I think it’s a good start as well. There’s still room for growth.Oh, by the way, I’ve just recalled one else failure. My plot summary is not as successful as I wanted it to be, so I’m a little bit upset now. But I believe (at least try to believe) that it isn’t the end of the world. It’s a long and difficult process of learning and studying, so keep calm and carry on.
To sum up, our life consists of ups and downs, it never remains the same. We can’t avoid our highs and lows, but we may change the way we see them.
Because as Wayne Dyer said, “When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change”.
