A few words about my stage experience

Hi everyone! Today I’d like to tell you about my most memorable stage experience. In general my experience of acting on stage isn’t rich: mostly I had some performances with a group of guitarists from the musical school I went to. It isn’t scary to perform with a group of people, so usually everything went just fine and such performances I wouldn’t call memorable. However, once I sang in front of lots of people alone, and it was a really significant moment for me.

It was in a sanatorium for kids near Kineshma. We had a lot of cool events, and one of them was a concert where everyone could show his/her talent. I was eleven and, to be honest, I didn’t want to participate. However, there was a girl who appreciated my talent in singing and suggested that we would sing a song in duet.

Nothing could go wrong, but it did. That girl should sing the second verse, but she got too nervous on the stage and couldn’t say a word. To save our little performance I had to sing not only my verse, but also hers. So the song was sung, our reputation was saved, and there were even some people who called me a little star.

For me this stage experience was really important as I understood that I can fight my fear of stage and show what I can. I was as nervous as that girl, but somehow I managed to pull myself together and continued singing.

It was a long time ago, but I still remember it.
